Privacy policy

Last updated July 22, 2026

At MovuGlobal we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, for what purpose, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. It is governed by Law No. 19.628 on the Protection of Private Life and is drafted in line with Law No. 21.719, which modernizes it and comes into force in December 2026.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is Servicios Jurídicos Movilidad Internacional Limitada, trading as MovuGlobal, tax ID (RUT) 78.384.197-5, with registered address at Santa Lucía 330, floor 2, Santiago, Chile. For any matter relating to your personal data you can write to contacto@movuglobal.com.

2. What personal data we collect

We only collect the data you provide to us or that is generated by your interaction with our sites.

  • Contact and identification data, such as your name, your email address and your phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Eligibility answers, meaning the information you give us when answering the questions in our forms to assess whether your case qualifies (for example whether one of your ancestors is an Italian, Croatian or German citizen, the ages of your children or the status of your consular records).
  • Technical browsing data, such as your IP address, the type of device and browser you use and the way you interact with the site, collected through cookies and the Meta pixel.

When you answer questions about your relatives (for example the nationality of a parent or grandparent, or the age of a child), we treat that data with the same care. By providing it you declare that you have those persons' authorization or that you act as their legal representative where applicable.

3. How we collect your data

  • Forms on our own sites, including this one and the landing pages hosted on movuglobal.com subdomains, such as menores-italia.movuglobal.com.
  • Meta instant forms (Facebook and Instagram), when you complete one of our ads without leaving the platform.
  • Cookies and the Meta pixel installed on our sites, which record browsing and conversion data.

4. Purposes of processing

We use your data to assess whether your case qualifies for the service you are interested in, to contact you and answer your query, to provide our legal services if you decide to hire us, and to measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising and our sites. We do not use your data for automated decisions that produce legal effects on you without human intervention.

5. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give freely and on an informed basis when you complete and submit any of our forms. We may also process it when necessary to perform the services contract you enter into with us and to comply with applicable legal obligations. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contacto@movuglobal.com, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6. Processors and recipients

To operate we rely on technology providers that process data on our behalf or that receive certain data as independent controllers.

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), which provides the instant forms, the pixel and the advertising tools.
  • Google LLC, whose Google Workspace services, in particular Google Sheets, we use to store and organize the information of interested parties internally.
  • FlowGuru, an artificial intelligence platform we use to qualify and schedule those who contact us.
  • WhatsApp, which we use to communicate with you when you leave us your number.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers, such as Meta and Google, store and process the information on servers located outside Chile, mainly in the United States. When using their services we adopt the safeguards these companies offer to protect your data in line with international standards. By providing us your data you accept this international transfer on the terms described.

8. Retention periods

We keep your data for as long as the assessment of your case and the commercial relationship last, and thereafter for the time necessary to meet our legal, tax and defense obligations regarding potential claims. As a reference, we keep the data of those who contact us but do not become clients for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, and that of clients for the period required by the rules applicable to the provision of professional services. Once those periods have elapsed, we delete or anonymize the information.

9. Cookies and the Meta pixel

Our sites use cookies and similar technologies so that they work correctly, remember your preferences and measure the performance of our advertising. In particular we use the Meta pixel, which lets us know whether you arrived from an ad and optimize our campaigns. You can disable or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you block them, some features of the site may not work normally.

10. Your rights

As the data subject you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to rectify it when it is inaccurate, to request its deletion, to object to certain processing and to request the portability of your data to another controller. To exercise any of these rights write to contacto@movuglobal.com stating your name and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the periods established by law. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may turn to the competent supervisory authority in Chile.

11. Security

We adopt reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No system is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to keep your information safeguarded.

12. European Economic Area users

If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the processing of your data is also governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In that case the legal basis is your consent and, where applicable, the performance of a contract, and you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country. You can exercise them by the same means, writing to contacto@movuglobal.com.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. When we do, we will change the last updated date shown at the top of this document. We recommend that you review it periodically.
