Every citizenship by descent starts with a document, the record that proves where your ancestor came from. Many families know their great-grandfather was Italian, German or Croatian, but do not have the certificate or know which town he was born in.
We search for those documents in civil and parish registries, in Chile and in Europe, and rebuild the family line you need to file your case.
Who qualifies?
This search is for you if one of these applies.
- You know where your ancestor came from, but you do not have their birth or baptism record.
- Your family is missing a record in the line, for example a marriage or a death certificate.
- You have documents with errors in names or dates that need to be clarified before filing.
To start we need at least the ancestor's name and a clue about their origin, such as a surname, a town or an old document.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know my ancestor's hometown?
It helps a lot, but it is not always essential. With the name, an approximate date and a family document we can start searching.
Can you search in Europe without me traveling?
Yes. We submit the requests remotely through our team and collaborators in Europe.
Does the search include the citizenship application?
They are separate services that complement each other. Many families start with the search and continue with the citizenship application with us.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the country and on how many records need to be found. We send you a clear proposal after the free consultation.
